In light of the spread of COVID-19, Inaccess is taking all the necessary precautions to ensure business continuity while contributing to the global effort to contain the outbreak. We are closely monitoring and adhering to the recommendations of local governments, to minimize any risks to our employees and customers.

Our Distributed Operations Infrastructure

Not surprisingly, given the nature of our business and our global coverage in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia, our operations are distributed and independent of physical working locations. Our Collaboration, Planning, Development, IT, Field Operations, Sales and Customer Support are based on leading interoperable, redundant and secure cloud platforms.

Our UNITY platform is based primarily on Google Cloud Engine with all the respective services placed by design in a diverse set of Country-Region and Intra-Region Availability Zones, guaranteeing high availability. Our BCP and service reliability team policies, even in the event of a natural disaster, enable us to quickly move any affected service or component to another region/zone with minimum data loss and recovery time objectives. In combination with UNITY Local Plant Servers, offered with various levels of active-active redundancy at Server, Controller or Switch level, UNITY Cloud platform can be the natural BCP complement for the operation of large power plants, offering reliable options for disaster recovery.

Meanwhile, all our Collaboration, Operations, Scheduling/Planning, Development, Sales and Support processes are based entirely on cloud services (Jira, Slack, Confluence, Google Suite Apps, Freshdesk, Salesforce, Netsuite). As a result, our employees have been always able to work seamlessly at the office or from home, carrying out anything from internal company processes and virtual customer meetings to remote commissioning and fine-tuning of the operation of renewable power plants, by pulling together the necessary resources, in conjunction with local teams of customers and partners as needed.

We are in regular communication with our global partners in service hosting and cloud services that facilitate our operations. We are synchronized with their response procedures and remain confident in their abilities to handle this difficult situation.

With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have asked our employees to reduce their physical presence at the offices to the minimum required and to work remotely in order to limit the potential for virus exposure for themselves, their families, our customers and our communities, but we still continue to work together as before.

Our Field Operations

Depending on the regional situation, we reduce or temporarily suspend domestic and international travel for on-site work and commissioning purposes. Our focus is on ensuring that our teams avoid becoming quarantined in remote locations and instead stay fully engaged and connected remotely, 100% dedicated to providing Remote Commissioning as well as further calibration procedures for plant energizations.

During this period of increased travel bans and restrictions, we emphasize the field-to-portal preprogrammed software and secure remote configuration capabilities of all UNITY platform elements, which enable EPCs to complete plant SCADA and PPC preparation and calibration with the remote assistance of our technical teams.

Our Global Supply Chain

In addition to retaining reasonable stock quantities capable of satisfying the short-term needs of upcoming power plant installations, we are in constant communication with our supply partners (primarily Cisco, Moxa, Advantech, Schneider, ABB, HP and Lenovo) for further pre-ordering and have received assurance that they will be able to provide the necessary materials for our SCADA and PPC product lines.

Nonetheless, we continuously research multiple supply sources and for any unforeseen changes in schedules, we will immediately inform affected customers and advise on any necessary alternative, country-specific supply path.
